Christmas in July!

Hubs has been enjoying some days off this past week, so yesterday I was able to steal a little time away on my own. Delightful! Our little town has some cute little boutiquey stores that are loads of fun to visit and when I get the chance to go on my own, I make sure I really enjoy it!
I even got to check out a little frozen yogurt shoppe...mmmm...raspberry frozen yogurt is hard to beat.

As I was walking up one side of the main street, I discovered a few of the stores were having a "Christmas in July Sale". Now, I`ve hardly recovered from the very looong winter we just barely pulled out of (you think I kid, but I`m not!), but I`m always up for a sale, so I did my best to tune out the carols playing and focus on the great finds! There were lots of cute, fun things to be found!

This little cutie will make a great stuffer in a wreath or even just hanging off a doorknob...

I love me some blingety bling, and these were only $3 a stem!

I don`t think I`ll wait for Christmas to find a spot for these mercury glass candle holders and at $5 each,
I thought it was a pretty fair price!

Then there were some non-Christmas items to be had as well.
I loved this $10 sign and thought it would be sweet hanging on the gate into our backyard.
And thankfully my froof hating husband agreed it looked nice there!

These little sweeties were $3 each. Although the pale pink color is nice, it wasn`t quite what I had in mind...

A few coats of aluminum colored spray paint and they fit right in.
My apologies for the crummy picture. It was late, lighting was bad and now that they are painted a solid color, the features are not as visible so they tend to look blurry in pictures. But you get the point! I love em!

Then I went into one of my most favorite stores in town and to my surprise, guess what I saw?!
Look familiar?!

I had a good giggle over that. I guess great minds think alike...or else they`ve been peeking through my kitchen window at night! Either way...I think I like mine better and I definitely like the total $5 cost of mine in contrast to $125 for theirs!!

So what great thrifty finds have you picked up this week?!!
