Well...it's finished!
I only added one more pumpkin and deemed the front entry DONE.
It's definitely not the most grandiose entry one has ever seen, for sure, but we really like it!
I love lighting it all up for hubby when he comes home from work (err...when I remember, that is).
I moved the urn with planted grass from the backyard up to the front step and I love how it fills the space up by the door. The yellows and oranges of the mums are so fall-y too...yum!
The twiggy pumpkin is a new addition to my collection this year, and I love how it has little twinkle lights in it!
You might recognize those candlesticks too! I moved them around from the back as well and filled them with some battery operated candles...so great for outdoor use!! They flicker and move just like real candles, but take all the worry of an open flame away.
Especially when there is grass hanging down over top of them.
Sometimes I wonder just how twitchy and nervous the neighbors get when they look over here...ha!
One of our local grocery stores started clearing out their mums at a crazy low price almost as soon as they received the shipment...so naturally I added one or two to my shopping cart every time I went there until they sold out!
Yesterday I showed you my cheapo fall wreath that I was too scared to tackle for days and days and days...
The black lanterns were a clearance purchase when I worked at a home decor boutique a few years ago.
I love them and make sure I use them every opportunity I get!
Thanks for stopping by...and...umm...sorry I didn't get the blow dryer out to get rid of that wet patch for you.
Just squint and pretend I did, kay?!
Looks great...love your wreath (so pretty).

Linda

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful porch! I love those lanterns and I can imagine how pretty things look at night. I had two huge Mums but they didn't last long this year - too much rain I think for them as they weren't covered. Thanks so much for linking up to The Creative Spark. Have a great week!
